Expanding Our Horizons:  Building Diverse Collections in School Libraries Pre-Recorded Webinar

Most librarians don't have "manage social media" as part of their job description, yet many of us do just that (or, at least, recognize its current and growing importance as a platform for advocacy and promotion of our work). In this webinar, we'll work through the key elements of a successful social media plan, including audience identification, platform demographics, content development, promotion, and assessment. With an understanding of platforms available and a strategic plan in place to guide content development, librarians can engage with audiences through social media without distracting from their primary job responsibilities -- or without having to rely on the unsustainable "get an intern to do it" plan!

Audience of this Webinar:

Anyone interested in learning more about using social media in their library.
