Keith and Tammy

Keith is supervising a group of supervisees in a local mental health center. He provides both group and individual supervision. Over time, he becomes aware that each of his supervisees is very different. Each of the supervisees will be described briefly and then you will be asked to think intentionally about possible interventions.

Tammy is the most experienced and skilled of the supervisees, consistently demonstrating a solid command of her counseling skills. With one client, though, she seems to occasionally get frustrated and Keith thinks this shows up in her tone of voice.  Keith wonders what might explain this difference in Tammy’s presentation and skills.
